Pretty Maids All in a Row

Bridesmaids, Bridesmaids, Bridesmaids...... (doesn't that sound like "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha"??) every season there is a common thread. Last year saw the same style at many weddings across St. Louis. We look forward to seeing what this year continues to bring. Last year was a black and white-palooza----whoa,  lots of black and white! we will see if the trend holds as we move fully into summer.

Check out the retro photo to the left------------- we hear that bridesmaids dresses are going to be VERY retro inspired next year. Let's hope that some photography styles don't follow!

The funniest thing about bridesmaids and Maids of Honor is that they all take upon themselves the job of being caretaker, advice giver, phone caller, errand runner and get a lot of the grunt jobs. These women are SERIOUS! Even when we see the brides with their attendants at a bridal fair, the bridesmaids usually carry the bag of literature and freebies and joke about how they are the somebody that has to take care of their friend the bride. Bless bridesmaids we say!

Another trend we heard is making a resurgence is that each maid will wear a dress of a different color and style. Other trend watchers are making a push for the return of hats! That must be someone who is still stuck on the royal wedding!!
